About Penny
Through no fault of her own Penny has become morbidly obese! Currently she is not showing any sign of diseases that can be associated with obesity, such as, Diabetes, Arthritis, Skin problems, and Heart Disease. BUT WITHOUT a strict weight loss management plan, Penny's health may rapidly decline.
With this said we STRONGLY recommend that Penny goes to an owner who is committed and willing to help get her weight back on track with the help and guidance of their veterinarian.
Not only will Penny's life be enriched by losing weight but her life span will be extended giving many happy years ahead with her new owner.
Although Penny has a clean bill of health, she is a little older and may soon require veterinary treatment for diseases of old age such as arthritis and heart disease. Please don't be put off by Penny's age because, with the right care, she has many more years ahead of her. Penny eagerly awaits a lovely new home where she will be offered the attention that she deserves.
Penny has previously had Cat Flu. Although this condition usually resolves without complications, in some instances the cat may remain a carrier of this disease and the disease may recur in the future.
