About Max (Assisted rehoming)
Max is a big affectionate goofball.
He is a little timid when meeting new people but soon warms up and is then affectionate and gentle.
He has met children five years and older, he is calm and happy to meet.
He has been trained to sit, stay, come and go. And no. He responds to all of these commands.
He loves his walks, can get excited when he sees another dog, but will listen and keep walking with the command "no" or "keep walking"
He is toilet trained, will let you know when he wants to go.
He sleeps inside and outside, but prefers to sleep inside on a blanket.
He can be trusted to be left on his own, currently is left for six hours a day on his own.
He likes to come inside when everyone is home, and is inside to have his dinner.
He has lived with three different dogs during his life so far, so long as the introduction is done correctly , he is just curious, but is calm and gentle.
He will need 5 foot plus fences, but once he is told not to go past the boundary, he will not go past that point.
His owner has had Max since he was a puppy, this is a very reluctant re home, but sadly the place the owner is living will not allow a second dog, the owner is now living with relatives.
Max is currently staying in temporary accommodation so finding him a new home is urgent.
Max will be desexed prior to been adopted.
He currently weighs 52 kg.
Medical notes
Had an accident where his tail was caught, which meant part of his tail had to be amputated, all healed and not causing any health issues.
