About Galaxy (CaV18-67)
Hi, my name is Galaxy. The real galaxy is very very big but I am very very small and sometimes everything out there seems pretty over-whelming for little ol' me!
I need a wonderful, loving family to make me the centre of their universe and love me to bits.
I was born at a property with LOTS of cats. A nice man was feeding us all but it has been hard for him to spend time with all of us while trying to make sure we were all fed and okay. So I missed out on some important handling in my early weeks and that's why I'm still really shy of people. It's not that I don't want to be your friend - I really do! You're just really scary at first but when you speak to me kindly and stroke me gently it's the best thing ever.
It won't take me long to come round, you just need to give me lots of love and kindness in the beginning while I settle in.
I would really love to be adopted with my brother Comet as he really looks after me and we are very best friends. You get double the love and cuddles, we get to bring out security blankets - each other!
(There's a reduced fee to adopt us both, check with my foster mum about that). We won't mind if there are other cats in your home already, and we're okay with dogs as long as they're gentle with us.
I'm such a pretty girl with a soft countenance and a yearning to be part of a real home. My brother Comet is nicknames Comedy - he's definitely the joker of the pair! Taking the two of us together will give you two very different, but very complimentary personalities. Comet is out-going and full of life and perfectly balances my slowly-slowly approach!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
