Bella

Say hello to Bella.

Bella is a very energetic girl as expected from her breed and age. She is super friendly with people and has a tail that never stops wagging, she is very affectionate and is always near by for a pat or belly rub.
She will be well suited to a home with someone who is willing and able to exercise her daily so she has the chance to burn off some of her stored up energy.

Bella resource guards food and toys so hands need to be kept away while she's eating or playing. She has proven to be good with children, however, due to her being protective of her special belongings, Bella will be best suited to a home with no young children or grandchildren.

Since being surrendered into our care from a loving home, Bella has shown that she has no interest in spending her time with other dogs. We are unsure of her history as a younger dog but while she has been with us, it has become quite clear she is not relaxed or happy to be in the company of other dogs. For this reason she will not be suited to a home where there will be expectations of her attending play dates, social get togethers with other canine family members or leash free parks.

Considering her love for people, their attention is all she needs and wants. She will be best suited to a home where there will be someone home majority of the day to offer her lots of company and mental activities to keep her active mind occupied.

Bella really loves water. She will jump straight into her shell pool, tries catching the water from the tap when it's running and really loves the hose. This is a great game for her that will keep her entertained for quite some time. Bella also enjoys going for walks but does aim to get where she is going in a hurry. She will need to be walked on a leash at all times as she is easily distracted and will chase other animals if she has the opportunity.
Obedience training is highly recommended and will be very beneficial for her to help her understand what her family expect from her and for her to learn important boundaries quite quickly in her new home.

In her previous home. Bella always slept on her humans bed and we'd like this to continue in her new home as that's what she knows and it will help her settle in easier with her special new people.
She is a very sweet girl and we know the perfect family will understand her needs and not attempt to change her but accept her for the adorable girl she is.

Bella will only be suited to a home as an only pet. Homes with other dogs, cats or small animals will NOT be considered.
