Hi there! I’m Scraps and wow, my foster carer has such lovely things to say about me.

“He's loyal, eager to please and easy going. He is a lovely, sweet natured dog. Very, very affectionate and just loves a cuddle. He’s gotten on well with all the dogs we have introduced him to so far. He's an amazing dog and very gentle with little kids.

“He is easy going and content to lie at your feet when you are at home provided he has a walk each day. He responds well to commands. You can tell he wants to please us. He's still getting used to the lead so doesn't walk in a straight line yet, but he also doesn't pull too hard on it. We've been letting him run off the lead at the park and he comes back when called. He also sits on command.

“Poor darling had a rough time I think. He wasn't in great condition and had been attacked by other stray dogs when he was found. It also looks like his tail was cut off by someone at an early age, as it's a funny length.

"It turns out he's quite the jumper. Most days I now come home to find him sitting patiently on the front verandah, waiting for me to get home from work. He is always out the front, I never have to go looking for him. But our fences are already quite high and he still manages the jump easily."

A week after my carer wrote that about me, I thwarted teenagers trying to break into the house. I scared them off with some big loud barking. I’m really chuffed that I could repay my foster carers for their kindness to me :)
