Hey! I’m Moana. My carer says I’m such a well behaved, lovely natured girl. I’ve slotted right into my foster family where there are young children, two other dogs, a cat and chooks, too! I love having the two older dogs as they teach me how to behave and give me lots of confidence. They've taught me how to use the doggy door, so I always go outside to do my business. I’m scared of visitors and dogs that I don’t know and will stand back, but I’ve learned to trust the cues of the other dogs, and once I can see they’re OK with the visitors, I’m in there in the middle of things. If the dogs get cross with me about anything, I’m always submissive and back off. I would be so happy if I could live with an older, calm male dog who I can take guidance from. I like the old cat too - I lick his face, and the rest of the time, I don’t bother him.

I love my toys. Usually I’m walking around with one in my mouth, and hoping the male dog will play tug o’ war with me. The children don’t let me in their rooms, because being a pup still, I would like to chew their toys. So instead, I’ve learned to lie at the entrance to their rooms and watch them play from there. I never jump up on the furniture. I never bolt out the front door if it’s open. We’ve had a 3 year old visit and I was lovely with them too.

Foster Mum says I’m a bit of a pig with my food :( Well, I am still growing. But I get so excited at meal times that I just have to snuffle it up!

A few hours flying is absolutely worth it for remotely located animals if it means we have the opportunity to be adopted. My airfare to Perth is $150 thanks to SAFE and QANTAS, and I can fly elsewhere in Australia too.
