WOULD LOVE TO FIND FOSTER CARERS FOR APPROX 6 MONTHS BUT IF NOT WILL NEED TO BE ADOPTED

Hi my name is Rusty, Sadly my owners need to find me and my best friend Lollie a new home, they would love it if someone could foster us for 6 months but we know that’s a big ask so are also up for adoption as it’s urgent that we find somewhere very soon as we wont have anywhere to live after Easter. Our owners really love us to bits and are heartbroken about needing to find somewhere for us but they have found it really hard to pay for rent and childcare so are needing to stay with family until they get back on their feet.
I’m a lovely boy who was rescued many years ago from a man that tied me up and beat me, but I’m a happy boy now and live with children aged 2 & 5 yrs old. I’m very good with the children and don’t jump up on them but I do steal their balls....hehehe
I can be protective of Lollie & my family when other dogs in the park come too close,so I need to go on a lead if any dogs come into the area. I’m ok with other dogs if I get to know them though.
I’m house trained & love chasing balls, swimming in the ocean & river and love going camping, oh & I LOVE chicken nuggets from McDonalds Smile
I hate thunder & lightning & fireworks, I also don’t like boarding kennels or being tied up.
I know how to sit, stay & wait for food and back off, I can pull on the lead if you let me but you can train me not to do that.
