About Archer
Archer is one of a kind, a boy who just literally loves everyone. Meeting a range of dogs from puppies to elderly. Small to large. Male and female. Archer as proven to be social with all and would very easily adjust to a household that is looking for a social canine to go out and about with.
Dog beaches and dog parks would easily suit this boy or just a regular home looking for a dog who loves to be out on adventures.
He is great inside and has already started to show some great promise with toilet training and basic obedience. He has nailed his crate training and is good both on and off leash. He even has shown to have excellent recall already.
He has met some cats and although he was friendly. We think he may be a little too curious with the wrong cat. So he could suit a home with a dog savvy cat but his new owners would need to be aware of some training involved.
Archer NEEDS to be rehomed with another playful and social dog. One that is confident and can keep him company. He really seems to bond to canines and we think this would benefit him best.
He is good with kids and doesn't jump up so some little tykes to play with would suit him with ease.
He would do best with someone who is home a little more often than not as he does like his human company. And a home that allows him inside is essential for him to thrive.
He will NEED 6ft fencing as although he hasn't escaped his current foster home. He did show that he can jump 4ft gates to be with his humans. He didn't stray far but we would worry if he got hurt when out.
He would also easily suit acreage living with the free space and fresh air. So this could be another option for him.
Archer is located in the lower hunter valley region and his adoption fee is $400.
We may consider interstate adoption for him for the RIGHT home. But they would need to be willing to drive to his foster home for meet and greet and collection.
