About Ashton
Hello, my name is Ashton and, although I was microchipped, no one picked me up from the pound when I was found as a stray. I wasn't in the best condition, and needed some basic training, so the Rescue Hub ladies saved me and have started showing me how to be a good boy.
I already know how to sit for a treat and can take my treats gently. My lead training has begun, and I am learning to walk on a loose lead and follow humans wherever they go. I still need a little more practise, because practise makes perfect!
I would suit a home that is experienced with Staffys. The volunteers think I have been left alone to my own devices at my old "home", and I can be a little stubborn when I am told "no". But with a firm, yet caring hand, I want nothing more than to please you and have cuddle time.
I don’t mind other dogs, but let’s have a meet and greet just to be sure we all get along. I have not been tested with cats or children, but due to my little stubborn streak I would suit a home with teenage children.
Medical notes
Ashton is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
