Monty

Looking for a boy who has it all, then perhaps monty is exactly what you are looking for!

the beautiful monty is a joint rescue operation between victoria, canberra (where he is in foster care) and nsw; we are spreading the news that monty is looking for a new home far and wide!

monty is a stunning looking and natured desexed 6-year-old beagle cross harrier. He stands at approx 18 inches in height and has just been vet checked and had his vaccination booster and heartworm test and treatment conducted. As you can see from these photo’s monty is all about fun, play, energy and an all rounded fantastic nature!

this big boy just adores playing with other active dogs; he has previously lived with other dogs and is looking for a home with another high-energy brother or sister to play with all day long!

monty has spent time with young children, he is housetrained and would suit a family who are semi retired, stay at home family/parent or a family that woks from home. Monty is highly intelligent and would thrive with any family who loves being involved in dog sports/obedience/scent work. Alternatively, a family who just adore having their animals as part of their day-to-day lives. Monty requires secure 6 foot plus fencing that he cannot get out of, daily mental and physical exercise and would thrive in a family where he gets to sleep inside! this beautiful big hound will bring you untold laughter and joy whether it’s with his daily play or just laying his big beautiful head on your lap for a cuddle.
