About Matthew
Patrick and his brother Mathew were born and fostered for a very long time in a remote part of the NT. We believe they are related either as siblings or cousins. (They do not need to be adopted together)
Their mums were small dogs but not sure about dad. They all have stumpy legs like a corgi or Daschund but we have no idea of the breed.
The boys are approx 1yr old, used to other dogs of all shapes and sizes and when being fed by their mums lived in their foster carers "cat pen". So respect cats.
The boys have no behavior issues, may have had some contact with older children and will benefit from training. And will need to get used to all the sights and sounds of the city or suburbia.
They lived for so long in foster care as it was hoped they could return with their mums to their original home but due to there being too many dogs in the homes, it was decided it was best the boys found a forever home elsewhere.
The boys have all been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and parasite treated.
They flew from Alice Springs to Sydney and are in foster care in Kingsford in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney near Prince of Wales hospital.
Adoption details
If you do not own your home do you have written permission for a dog?
We recommend when bringing a new dog into your home be it a rescue dog or from a breeder, you introduce training of some kind. What kind of training would you introduce for this dog?
Have you had a dog before and when?
How long would the dog be alone for each day and during these times how would you prevent the pup from becoming lonely and bored? (leaving a young pup alone with only toys is not suitable)
Where will the dog sleep at night?
Please add any information that indicates you understand the needs and behaviors of dogs, especially when young.
Please only inquire when you are ready to take a pup home at the time of the "meet and greet" e.g. have puppy proofed your home, purchased everything you need and all decision-makers are present.
Thank you
