About Gherkin
Meet Gherkin!
Gherkin is an entertaining sticky beak. Her need to see what is going on far out weighs her natural instict to stay in her hidey hole. Being young she is active and will sit for pats and have a cuddle for a little while but then she is off again exploring and sticking her nose into things making sure she is part of the action. Gherkin is a happy little sole and spends the morning popcorning and generally being high on life.
If you would like to adopt Gherkin you will need to have an existing desexed male or female guinea pig as they are herd animals and don't do well alone. As Gherkin is still young and has lived well with an older desexed male and female before she has shown she is fairly easy going. Proper slow introductions in a neutral area will be needed to ensure your guinea pig/pigs accept her but from what we have seen most piggies love her.
