About Pippa
*ON TRIAL* Many of us have experienced great loss during our lives and we understand the sorrow associated with losing your most important person. But for gorgeous Pippa this has also meant the uprooting of her entire life. New surroundings, unfamiliar smells, strange people.
This has happened to Pippa not once, but twice. Death comes to us all, and it’s the sad reality of life. It may have been her owners’ time, but Pippa is not ready yet - she’s full of life and she wants to share it with someone who will help her make the most of it. Someone who she can look at with adoring eyes and snuggle against on the couch. Because snuggling is what Pippa does best and loving you is what she wants to do most.
The side-effect of this absolute loyalty is that she doesn’t want to miss a moment with you. She is acutely aware of her precious owner’s absence and becomes very sad.
For this reason, this delightful girl will need to be with her owner most of the time.
Think of the fun you two could have, making the most of every moment! Pippa exhibits her joy of life by rolling in the grass over and over with a big smile on her face.
She’s very enthusiastic about her walks and can run and run, especially if you throw her the ball!
So what is it that makes Pippa so very special? Is it her soft, pendulus ears? Her fluffy little feet? The way she looks at you with unbridled love? If you make her yours, you get to choose your favourite quality - and are so many to choose from.
Pippa deserves to have the very best that life can offer her now, after so much upheaval and heartbreak. But with Pippa it’s a two way street. The joy you deliver her will be bestowed back upon you by a faithful, loving and adorable soul mate.
If you are interested in life with Pippa, please see the application instructions below.
Medical notes
Pippa is healthy and fit. She will have a dental scale and polish to renew her gorgeous smile.
Adoption details
Please email me a little bit about yourself. I do not operate on a first-in-best-dressed basis. Instead, my aim is to find the most suitable forever home for the animals in my care.
Your email should include details about who lives at your home, both humans and animals and what their daily schedules and living arrangements are like. It should include details about your previous dogs and a thorough break down of the house rules you will have for this pet as well as what their typical day will look like.
It may take a couple of weeks to process the applications. Please try to be patient. All applicants will receive a response - but it won’t be an immediate one.
If your application seems promising you will be contacted for a telephone interview. Should this be successful you will be invited to a meet and greet and asked to send photos of your property.
Should the meet and greet end favourably, you may pay the adoption fee, sign some paperwork and take the pet on a two week trial during which time you will be asked to provide regular updates.
During this trial period the pet remains the property of Onyx Rescue and adoption will only be finalised following a successful trial.
