About Frankie
Frankie is a 12 month old Pug x Lowchen. He is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm treated. He has a perfect bill of health and nothing will need to be done for him.
Frankie will present as a reserved and slightly nervous little fella when you first meet him or when you take him into a new situation, but once he is comfortable he is a playful, happy go lucky little man. He will benefit from ongoing socialisation as he does startle bark when initially hearing/seeing something but is fine once used to the person/situation. He loves a squeaky toy but any chew toy will do and he’s happy. Frankie is dog friendly and when he has a sibling or friend with a similar playful personality he will sometimes play with quite a rambunctious attitude. He does seem to know that he can’t do that with older or reserved dogs.
Frankie is also cat friendly and would be suitable to live with a feline sibling.
Frankie walks well on lead and enjoys going out for a walk. He is currently a little overweight and on a bit of a diet, so he’ll be hoping for a family to take him for walks and some siblings to play with. He loves kids and would be a great pet for a young family who’ll take him on some adventures and put some effort into his training and manners. He has already been learning to sit, drop and stay in position but recall is tentative at the moment so he won’t be able to be off lead in public just yet.
Frankie is still very much an overgrown puppy and so his new family should expect experimental puppy type behaviours such as pinching stuff that doesn’t belong to him and chewing. He is very curious once he feels comfortable but has no ill intent. If you feel like you might be the forever family that Frankie is looking for send us an email enquiry and we’ll send you an application form.
