I've been adopted!
About Whitney
I'm the perfect mix of 'in your face cuddle me!!' and 'playful antics'. I love to bounce and zoom and explore and climb! My foster mum says she's so impressed with my speed - I can move across the room in the blink of an eye! My favourite scratch spot is just at the base of my tail. I love it so much that if you can get your hand on me mid stride I'll freeze instantly and purr with joy - good luck catching me though!
When someone opens the door I sprint to greet them and love to be picked up for a quick hug and kiss hello… then I'm off! Being little though, my legs get tired easily, so I need a nice warm spot to curl up in and recover. I don't mind if it's your lap or a fuzzy blanket but it I love to feel hugged when I go to sleep.
I'm happiest when I'm around my people. I'm a really good helper if you're working at home on the computer. My little paws are so good at pressing buttons - and you needn't worry about getting cold because I love to share the chair with you. We can negotiate (a little) on whether I take your lap or sit behind you, but just make sure we can snuggle up nice a close.
I noticed recently that my people are happy when I purr, so I've started a new trick, you just have to chat to me and I purr. Talk about cute…
I'm very brave around the big dogs in the house. We have 3 of them - it’s a very busy house! I love the dogs, most of all I like to share their beds. They like to snuffle me and lick my face…I protest a little for show, but I really do like the attention.
Since my mum and brothers left I've become really close to my sister, Winter. We love to play and snuggle together and would be so happy as a pair.
I've learnt how to come when I'm called… so when you're ready for your cuddle, just squeak out and I'll be there!

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
