About PJ
PJ is a 8 year old Irish Wolfhound.
He weighs 51 kg.
He has lived on a property all his life.
He has been in our care since the 11th March and he has been desexed, and a full check up.
Been vaccinated, HW tested.
And been fully fleas and worm treated.
This boy is very affectionate and just wants to be loved.
He needs a doggy friend to keep him company, or someone that is home quite a bit.
He is a huge boy and has never learnt to walk on a lead, but we are gradually teaching him.
He has been in suburbia since we have had him, and he is coping well.
He is not at all good with cats or birds.
PJ loves little dogs, but we find he is a little bossy with bigger dogs.
We are needing to find him his forever home asap.
This boy is a house dog and loves curling up on a old couch or new if he is allowed.
Toilet trained and he loves kids as well.

Adoption details
We shortlist families who will fit the dogs needs and contact them to arrange an introduction. If everything works well, after a timeout to be sure, an adoption agreement is completed. As the adoption donation is transferred the dog will pass into your hands.
Our Adoption Donation Fees vary. Elderly animals or animals with health problems can differ from those for young or purebred dogs.
All our dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. They are bathed and groomed, and have had a consultation with our vet who discusses appropriate treatment which we arrange while the dog is in our care. All dogs are desexed at our expense.
We understand that in the first week, issues occasionally occur where training or behaviour modification is impractical and if no other recourse is available and the dog needs to be rehomed, we will agree to refund part of the adoption fee less $100 administration fee. Due to our system processes this will not be instantaneous but will go into your bank account within the next 10 working days.
After the sixth day, we require first refusal if the dog is to be found a different home, but you will not be eligible for a refund.
