G'day I'm Sasha,

or Sasha Fierce as they have nicknamed me after that famous singer Beyoncé, how cool is that!

I'm far from 'fierce' though lol although I do have a deep bark so would make a good guard dog. I'm more a loveable goofball if the truth be known and I like nothing more than running amuck with my foster brothers and sisters in our 1/2 acre backyard. I am gentle with little dogs, my foster grandma is a one eyed 14yr old silky terrier and her and I often curl up and sleep together she makes a good pillow. Then there's my big mate Dozer the greyhound who likes to play rough with me and then I then chase him and try to catch him but he's way too fast for me.

I had a rough start to life after my male owner was killed in an accident and unfortunately his family didn't want me around so I was surrendered to Happy Tails.

I was then transported all the way from Broken Hill to Brisbane which took 6 days to try and find me my forever home.

When I arrived I was very scared and didn't want to leave the dog trailer but once I was introduced to my foster family and realised I was going to get well fed and lots of love I knew I'd come to the right place.

I am wary of men when I first meet them, I won't bite them or anything silly like that but I just need someone patient so I can take my time to suss them out and then once I know they won't hurt me I will be their best mate.

I walk well on a lead and play well with other dogs. I am very good at sitting when there are yummy biscuit bones being given out as I do love treats and of course plenty of cuddles.

I've been around little people and know how to be gentle but if you're bigger and want to play fetch or need someone to go jogging with then I'm your girl !
