About Rosie (AV999)
A Rosie by another name would still be as sweet!
Introducing lovable bundle of fun Rosie, an enthusiastic and happy girl who is ready to take on life!
Rosie is just 12 months old - still a baby, but a BIG strong baby! Rosie loves people and is always keen to meet new humans. Around the house she has excellent manners - house-trained, not destructive or a digger, not excessively vocal (though she will alert you to any unexpected visitors). Rosie is loving and affectionate and a wonderful family member.
Like any baby, Rosie has a lot of learning still to do. Because of her size it is easy to forget how young she is but it is important that her new family be keen to work hard on Rosie's training and lead walking to continue moulding her into everything we know she can be.
Rosie has been going to some group training classes with her foster Dad and making exceptional progress so we are very keen for her new family to continue this. Not only will it teach her important skills, it will enhance the bond between you and your pooch.
It is important for you to know that Rosie is a bit of a princess pooch and she doesn't get along with other doggos one little bit. This is a pretty important part of Rosie's personality and you need to consider it carefully - she isn't suited to living with another dog, having your friends' dogs over to visit or being walked in busy places or visiting the dog park etc. Rosie LOVES long walks and playing but she wasn't socialised with other woofers when she was a wee pup so as a result she doesn't know how to interact and she isn't friendly with other canines she meets. You'll need to be a night owl, happy to walk her late in the evening or early in the morning when there aren't many other dogs around, or just take her along quieter walking tracks. She will serve as exceptional motivation to make sure you get out for that daily jog or walk!
Rosie is a big lovable goof ball, a friendly and happy girl with lots of energy but like manners at home. She is, unfortunately, one dog in a million others just like her but her easy-going nature and willingness to learn (and quick!) make her a standout lass. Arrange to meet her today!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
