About Adele
ADELE IS LOCATED IN NEWCASTLE and is ready to find her forever home.
A message from ADELE herself .....
I have come along way since being rescued, since having major surgery on my throat to allow me to breath again and not be so noisy I have been given a new lease on life. Since my recovery I have rekindled my love of food, I am obsessed with toys and chewing all things rubbery and squeaky.
I would be best suited as the only pet in my new home, I do enjoy the company of other dogs but in small doses. I love my humans most and am very loyal to them. I’m an Aussie Bulldog but often confused for a British as I’m only about 25kgs.
Since being with my foster family I have been toilet trained, I have been around a puppy and am understanding that the toilet is only to happen when I am outside. I would be best suited as an indoor dog with air conditioning as a must. I would like a household where I can walk freely inside and outside as I please so I can do my business.
My foster parents walk me daily, at least once a day and I love that, I love the water, ocean rock pools, sand and parks. I am best when in a harness walking next to my human unless in a safe environment I am happy to roam freely.
I know basic commands but I am a typical bulldog and sometimes just ignore my humans unless they are to treat me with something yummy 😂 I'm not a jumper and whilst my foster carers don't have kids, I've been good with all those I have met so far. I will lift my paw to get your attention to give me a belly rub or a cuddle.
I am a little too interested in cats so best my new home doesn’t have any.
