About Mia (CaV18-60)
Introducing Mia - a very unique and special girl. Of course, each and every cat is unique and special but Mia is rare as well. A pure-bred Devon Rex is not something we come across in rescue that often and we know she will spark a lot of interest, with her stunning silken curls and adorable, perpetually grumpy face.
Although we're sure you've already fallen in love, Mia is looking for someone very special, as special as her. Please have a good read of her profile and only enquire if you think that you two will be the perfect match.
Mia has already had 4 homes in her 5 short years.
She's an anxious, highly-strung little lass who needs a home that is calm and has predictable routines.
She absolutely must be the only pet in the home - she has lived with other animals before and it just doesn't work for her. She needs to be your one and only fur baby.
Children are unfortunately also a no-no - too much noise, movement and constant change.
Someone who travels a lot won't work either, as regular trips to a boarding facility would be super stressful.
Mia must also be a strictly indoor-only cat (or have access to a fully enclosed and secure cat run). She has no street-smarts and could not keep herself safe outside. Additionally, as much as we hate to say it, she could be the victim of a cat-napping because of how unusual she is.
So Mia's ideal home would be with a mature single or couple. Someone who has patience and love in spades and who can assure her a lifetime of comfort and happiness. Mia has a heart full of love to give, hiding behind that little grouchy face. But she's locked it away after being let down so much!
We want only the best for this precious girl and we know that you will gain so much in return.
Mia is waiting to meet her family, so don't wait!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
