Butters *** needs to be only dog initially

Butters is a curious 6 month old Whippet X. He’s very affectionate and doesn’t like being left alone for too long, so would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time.

Butters prefers to be inside around his humans but is house trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. When he is inside be prepared to have a ‘shadow’ as Butters will want to go everywhere you are, whether it’s the kitchen, bathroom, couch or bedroom!

He is starting to enjoy being taken for walks on a lead however isn’t currently great around other dogs. This may just be excitement however he would probably be best in a home with no other pets for the time being.

As he is young, he has bursts of energy and loves being chased around the backyard or playing tug-o-war. Butters would benefit from some puppy training as he can be a bit cheeky at times.

Butters will make a great companion and would be suitable in a family with kids over the age of 6.

This pup needs to be socialised, he is no good with other dogs at the moment, so needs to go to a home that is prepared to take him to training and introduce him carefully to other dogs.

His previous very elderly owner became unable to care for him
