About Queenie
Queenie - The Queen of Hearts or The People's Princess.
Medium Sized Female Greyhound
Suited to a family with kids of all ages
Happy to be an only dog or company for other medium/large dogs.
Untested with cats.
FT/PT workers as long a good routine is maintained.
Queenie is a delight, she has a lot of energy, loves prouncing around, playing with her squeaky, fluffy toys, scoops them, flicks them with her paws almost "cat like" chasing them around up, bottom in the air a times - just a funny gal.
She loves walks and is a pleasure, looking around constantly, wanting to socialise with all she meets. No more than a glance at the passing dogs, noises and barks behind fences. Wags her tail on greeting another dog or person, and then just goes on her way.
She is a happy little traveller and is so enthusiastic when a car trip is planned, jumps in straight away waiting to see the new sights and happy to have a snooze as well.
She is toilet trained and is happy sleeping in a crate as well as many other comfy beds around the house, i.e. couch, bed, her own bed, the list goes on.
Queenie is so willing to please and responds immediately to a 'Aha' or 'No', and will stop and listen.
Just a big 'love bug', a snuggly girl, but quite independent and can immuse herself quite happily. Which is why Queenie would be happy being an only dog, but that's not to say she wouldn't like another medium/large friend as well.
You could say Queenie is a bit of a 'social butterfly' as she is good out and about and loves meeting people, is happy to have the attention.
She loves being outside with you but when she has had enough, likes nothing better to pop back inside for a little kip.
As I said the "Peoples Princess" loving and get on with whoever she meets.
Just a happy-go-lucky kinder gal :)
