About Clover ~ Whippet x Kelpie (on trial 4/4/2018)
Clover is an adorable Whippet x Kelpie only 9 months old. She is playful and affectionate and loves giving cuddles on your lap and will follow you around, often 'checking in' by nosing your leg or hand. One of her favourite things is doing the 'zoomies' racing around the backyard. This is typical sighthound behaviour: bursts of energy followed by downtime, where they lie around sleeping.
Clover loves her toys, and will play happily in the backyard. She shows puppy behaviour when greeting older dogs by mouthing and being submissive. She is very good with children.
Clover will need regular daily walks as she is a very active dog. It is preferable that Clover is adopted with someone who has another dog that she could play with or an active family with kids as she loves people.
If you’re waiting for your new best friend, it could be Clover.
Clover will need at least 6 foot colorbond fencing to keep her safe.
For more information or to meet Clover, please contact Donna on Timmypebmilo@hotmail.com or 0466 099 426. Clover is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW and is not available for adoption interstate.
Clover’s adoption fee is $500 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
