About Pepper and Jorja ~ Maltese (on trial 25/3/2018)
Pepper is a 7 year old Maltese boy and Jorja is a 5 year old Maltese girl. These gorgeous babes have only known love. Love of their mum, who cared and looked after them so well, but who unfortunately passed away unexpectedly.
Luckily these two have each other and are totally devoted, a matched set, ying and yang, peas in a pod. Pepper & Jorja have been through such an upheaval in their lives, they must remain together. They have settled into foster care well, loving little shadows following their foster mum around, looking for some stroking from a soft hand & a little attention.
Pepper & Jorja both get on well with other dogs. They haven't been tested with cats and pocket pets. Both dogs are great with children.
Pepper & Jorja are in great health and have recently had dental work. They both require regular grooming to keep them looking so good. It's possible the stress of moving into a new home has upset their usual toileting habits, but we are working on that.
Pepper & Jorja enjoy a walk and are good on the lead. Dog Rescue Newcastle will, as usual, require secure fencing for these babes. Our wish for these little darlings is a new mum, a welcoming lap and lots of love. A wish, I am sure their angel mum would want too.
For more information or to meet Pepper and Jorja, please contact their foster carer Doreen on 0407 721 759 or anne4drn@gmail.com. Pepper and Jorja are in foster care in Singleton, NSW and are available for adoption interstate.
Pepper and Jorja’s adoption fee is $750 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
