Introducing Mr Happy!

Malbec is a joyful young man who loves to play. He is bound to make you giggle as he fills his bed with all the toys available or starts having his own little game with a toy. Malbec is super sweet and very affectionate with his people. He is very loyal and just loves to be around you. Spending evenings curled up on the couch after a busy day of playing is definitely his style. He will be even happier if you’re giving him lots of pats and attention too.

Playtime with other dogs is lots of fun. Malbec has been great with meeting new dogs of all sizes while he has been in care. He is very social and friendly. He loves to rumble and play with his foster brothers that he is currently living with. Malbec is quite energetic and you may catch him doing zoomies around the yard just for fun. He also enjoys a good game of fetch, although he’s still learning to bring the ball back. Being a young and relatively active fellow, Malbec will require daily exercise and playtime throughout his life to keep him happy and healthy.

Malbec is a clever pup with lots of potential. He already has basic manners and can sit on command. He hadn’t been out and about much before coming into care so can be a little timid when out walking on the lead. However, this is continuing to improve and his new family should be willing to show patience and help him continue to build his confidence. Although not essential, Malbec would thrive in an environment where his new family were interested in continuing with his training as he does enjoy learning new things. He isn’t a digger, and doesn’t bark much as long as he’s not left alone without a doggy friend. Malbec sleeps through the night, is toilet trained and travels well in the car.

We are looking for a home where Malbec will be included as part of the family and included in the daily activities. He will require a home with another friendly and playful dog to keep him company. It would also be an added bonus if someone was home more often than not but not essential when he’s got his doggy friend. He should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night time. Whoever gets to adopt this beautiful boy will have a fun, loving companion to hang out with and enjoy.
