About Roy the boy
Roy came to us with another foxie who has already got a lovely home. Their owners marriage of many years dissolved and one went to live in an apartment and the other in a caravan park so neither could have the dogs. Roy is a lovely boy still fairly active as typical of the breed, gets one with other dogs, great with people and would make someone a loving companion. He plays happily with the ball and loves his toys which he is happy to share. He is desexed, immunised, heartworm tested and treated, microchipped and regularly treated for all te normal parasites ready for his new home.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
