About Sugar
This beautiful 9 year old cattle dog girl is just a delight but will need a special retirement home.
Although she is in foster care with other dogs. We think she would do okay with another calm dog or as an only dog. Sugar loves hanging out with the chickens and stealing there porridge.
She is a shy girl especially with people she does not know. She needs a calm loving and patient home that can help her build some trust and love. Being so timid, she is best suited to a home with teenage children as erradic noises and movements tend to make her shut down.
An indoors only home would suit and a home looking for a low energy girl who just wants to follow you around. She is suitable to acreage living and hasn't any means to escape. She would also suit a suburban household as long as she is indoors.
She is the type of dog that is happy to stroll along with you off leash and sit with you on the lounge.
Since arriving into care she is learning lots about love and affection as we unfortunately think she has spent most of her life confined and used as a breeding machine.
She does have limited teeth so a good diet with correct supplements would do her well.
Sugar is located on the Central Coast and her adoption fee is $250.
