About Amahli
Amahli; our beautiful 5 year old boerboel female (45 kilos in size) is now ready to find a home of her very own.
A beautiful girl who typical to the breed, just loves and adores her foster parents. She will NEED an owner who is experienced with the breed or at least with mastiffs as she is very strong willed, can be dominant in nature with other female dogs and will need an owner committed to continuing her socialisation and training with the outside world.
Amahli would LOVE a home with kids. She just loves the attention and love anyone can give her. So our biggest preference is for her to go to a home with some dog savvy kids for cuddles and kisses.
She will need to be allowed inside the house when people are home and at night. But she is more than happy to be outside when someone is at work.
In saying that, she is definitely suitable to a home were her owners work. She hasn't made an anxious fuss with being left when her foster parents arent around.
Amahli has shown to adapt well to crate training so a home that wanted to continue this would suit but it is not an essential part to her adoption.
She loves the car, walks and of course more cuddles and pats. She would love a home where she could continue to meet and greet new dogs often for playing but we would suggest staying clear of overly crowded dog parks or uncontrolled dog socialisation areas.
She will need a home confident in their training to make sure she stays well socialisation with good manners out and about.
She would very easily suit a home as a very much loved only dog. Although she loves to play with other dogs all day, she really follows people around more.
If she was to be rehomed with another dog, we would suggest a male dog as she is quite dominant with females in the existing pack in foster care.
We haven't assessed her with livestock, cats or pocket pets so we would suggest a home without these for safety. Amahli will need safe and secure fencing of at least 4ft or over but she is very suited to rural fencing also. She hasn't shown any signs of wanting to stray far from the current foster home.
Amahli is located in the lower hunter valley region and her adoption fee is $500.
We are taking applications for her NOW so if you're interested please send us a message for further details.

In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
