About Macaroon (CaV18-48)
Macaroon is a sweetly pretty, gentle and friendly girl. She appeared one day, seemingly from nowhere, at someone's house. They started putting out food for her and asked around everyone in the neighbourhood to find out where she lived, but no one seemed to know!
So they handed her in to SAFE to give her a chance at finding a happy, stable, loving home!
Macaroon is a little shy but super sweet. She enjoys gentle pats and quiet cuddles. She will do great in a home with a family who have the time to help her feel settled and loved from the beginning while she makes herself part of the family and finds her feet in a new place.
It is important that her new family are committed to keeping her indoors at least for the first 4 weeks until she comes to know that she's in her new permanent home and isn't going to be turfed out on the streets again!
Macaroon can live with other pets pending a slow and sensible introduction. Take her home today!
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
