Meet Mr Intelligent -Rex!

Rex is a loyal, smart dog who is eager to learn and even more eager to please; if someone would just give him the chance..

Rex hasn't been coping as well lately with the amount of time he has been waiting for a home. He has started to tell everyone who walks past his pen just how much he longs for a home.. however not everyone seems to understand his language and are judging him as just being a 'barker'. Rex's human mates at the shelter can reassure you that this is not the case. That what you're hearing is just the sound of a desperate plea. Try to understand his barking is a plea for help.. a plea for you to rescue him.. this behaviour is a result of his environment. We are all trying to keep his spirits up with plenty of love and attention here at the shelter but it's just not the same as a furever home.

If you have room in your home and heart for an intelligent, loyal companion Rex will not disappoint. He needs a special someone who can forgive and understand his struggle with the shelter life. In return you will be rewarded with a loyal buddy for life.

Dogs afterall are mans best friend, the least we can do is to try and understand them.

My adoption fee includes me, my desex, microchip and health checks and makes sure I am up to date with all my vaccinations, worming and flea treatments.
