About Cliff D3808
Cliff’s foster carer says, “He has such a bright happy personality. We love him. Cliff is well behaved, a fast learner, quiet, obedient, loving and friendly. He adores company and love and kisses. He is really getting along well with my dog. Cliff has a lot of energy but he is gentle and responsive.”
“We are currently working on training him out of the habits of jumping and nibbling, especially when he is happy and excited.”
Cliff would be ideal for a family with children old enough to be consistent with his training. We think he’s a two walks a day kind of guy who’d enjoy a household where there’s lots happening and where he’ll be included as part of family life.
Want to know more about how you teach a dog to be a great pet? Dogs need and love a 5 - 10 minute daily training session is important so that they learn and practice the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. Consistent, clear boundaries mean that they always know the right way to behave. And of course, socialising with lots of people, dogs and other animals is important too. Getting out and about to exercise at least once a day - twice a day for active dogs - is vital as it stimulates their brains, creates opportunities for them to socialise and physically tires them out. So it stops them from creating mischief at home!!!!
A few hours flying is very much worth it for remotely located animals if it means they have the opportunity to be adopted. Cliff’s airfare to Perth is $150 thanks to QANTAS, and he can fly elsewhere in Australia too.
