ABOUT
Gorgeous Layanna joined the BFF family from a rural pound. She is an absolutely stunning girl, with a beautiful soft Tortie coat and petite features. At 8 years young, she’s passed the wild stage of her life and is looking for a home to settle down in!
Miss Lay is a very chilled out little lady, she spends most of her days curled up asleep, purring away. She loves nothing more than taking a nap with you, sleeping beside you or something curled up into your back (or even face!). She loves gentle long pats of her gorgeous fur, and will happily purr away as you give her the attention she deserves.
Layanna isn’t an active cat, like a true feline she spends the majority of her day chasing z’s. Except food time! She is very food driven and will even talk to you about how excited she is for breakfast, dinner, and any snacks she may be able to sneak. If you have a roast chicken, she will be your new best friend and will eagerly hover around your feet until she gets her well deserved treat.
Layanna is looking for a home where she can relax and take it easy. She is best suited to a calm household with no small children, due to her heart condition. But whoever is lucky enough to get this gorgeous girl will be rewarded with so much love!
Medical note: Layanna has a grade 3 heart murmur and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (the abnormal thinkening of her heart muscle). She has been assessed by a specialist cardiologist, and fortunately although she does have heart disease, it is extremely mild and not likely to interfere with her life. It is not expected that her lifespan will be effected by her heart disease, however we recommend that any extra stress isn’t placed on her heart - so no kitten games for her! She does require annual monitoring to ensure that everything is as it should be, her next echocardiogram is due in August. She takes no medications for her condition.

Adoption details
All cats and kittens require a meet and greet in person and have their adoption application approved .
All cats and kittens will be desexed , mirco-chipped , vaccinated prior to leaving care plus treated for fleas and worms.
