About Chaser the dashing Burmese cat
What can we say about Chaser?!
If Chaser were a person, he would be an English Lord sitting high atop his manor in the rolling hills of a wealthy county. Chaser is a regal gentleman.
In typical Burmese style, he likes to communicate with your verbally. Meow means I'd like a pat. Meoow means I'm hungry. Don't understand? His eyes and intelligent way of showing you what he wants will make it easy.
Because he believes he's an English Lord, he only sees humans as worthy of his company. Pesky little felines are not to associate with him. Pfft - he will have none of it! Chaser needs to be an only Lord. I mean, cat. He's most unhappy when there are other cats around. He does like dogs. We believe, because of his majestic nature, he sees them as his own pet. And kids. He loves kids who respect his boundaries and are gentle with him. We believe that if he could, Chaser would put on a pair of jodhpurs and ride a horse also.
Did I mention that Chaser is a big boy? He would weigh in at around 8kg. 8kg of pure Burmese beauty. He is a rarity in the rescue world because Chaser is a pure bred Burmese WITH PAPERS. That's right, we have his pedigree papers people. And of course we have his siring ceremony video and nobility plaque. :-)
Chaser may sound like he's a posh little man but at the end of the day he just wants cuddles from his humans. He loves cuddles. It's when he puts his formal royal training behind him and just curls up on your lap and purrs and rolls around and nuzzles you and kisses you and just wants you to love him.
This boy is one of a kind. He's magic wrapped in chocolate fuzz.
Medical notes
Chaser has had a few teeth removed after having had a bad case of gingivitis. He needs to remain on a raw food diet and any treats need to be of the TD (dental care) kind to ensure we properly maintain his remaining teeth.
Chaser has been microchipped (microchip #953010002017241), wormed and vaccinated. He is healthy and ready for his new forever home.
Adoption details
To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a house check done, show 100 points of ID and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Deposits are accepted to hold cats & kittens before adoption - this deposit is not refundable (instalment payments can be arranged with the coordinator to pre-approved adopters).
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
Adoptions can be done with a two week foster to adopt arrangement for adult cats only.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion
Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
