About Max
Our beautiful boy Max is ready to start searching for that new home of his. A young Maltese X boy around 2-4 years old, this boy had some troubles skin when arriving into care.
He does have some anxiety so needs a home that is willing to work through that with him. He gets better every day that he settles.
He will need a home that has him as indoors as he just loves being indoors with his humans. A home committed to continuing his socialisation and training. And one that has a social and friendly dog in the household. He has shown to be good with a variety of dogs whilst in foster care.
He hasn't met any pocket pets or cats so we can't comment on how he is with those. And would be best suited to a home with kids over the age of 10.
He will need a home that wants to walk him at least once a day and feed him a good quality diet. He will need a home committed to regular grooming, and flea treatments as he has previously suffered from flea dermatitis. Since arriving into care he has had one stress induced seizure but no others since arriving. He isn't a candidate for medication and hasn't shown any further sufferings since that; so his new home need to be aware of the possibility of seizures during stressful times.
Max is located in the Cessnock area and his adoption fee is $350.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
