About Maggie
Hi my name is Maggie! Although I am a gorgeous, sassy girl, I have never had a forever home and have been living with foster carers since I was a kitten.
This might be because I am quite shy when I first meet people and get a bit scared by new places. When I first go into your new home you might not see me for a little while, but once I get comfortable I am a very quirky, cute and loving cat. It can take me a bit of time to get used to a new person, but once I have decided that I like them I love nothing more than pats and scratches along my back. If you are not giving me pats when I want them, I will chirp at you until you assume the acceptable “patting position”, seated upright with your feet on the floor, so that I can run around your legs and bump you with my head whilst you give me all the scratches that I deserve, and I deserve never ending pats and scratches!
I can be quite a vocal girl, and have the cutest little high-pitched meow when I try and chat with you. My foster family loves talking to me and I will run around the house following them everywhere. I also love having the company of another kitty and really enjoy chasing my foster family’s cat around the house. I will do much better with another cat friend in the household (with proper introductions) as this will help me come out of my shell a lot faster. I have also been around dogs in my previous foster home.
Could you be the person to finally give me my forever home? I have been waiting so patiently for almost 2 years to find the right person for me.
If you think you have a home for me please let my foster mumma know.
