About Orbit (CaV18-38)
Hello, my name is Orbit.
I saw you were advertising an opening for a new house cat, so I thought I would apply.
I have many great qualities that make me suitable for this role. I like to purr a lot and I enjoy playing with toys, or any small objects you make available for me.
I am well presented (except that photo of me with my tongue out, look, I had had a big night and... you know).
Anyway, I AM well presented. I take pride in my appearance and concentrate on washing myself regularly. Several hours of it each day, in fact, and I prefer to sit on the newspaper you're trying to read while I do it.
Some of my other skills include napping (it's a hard job, but someone's gotta do it!), snoozing (trust me, this is different to napping), resting my eyes (I'm watching the dog out of one corner) and taking siestas.
I am a sociable fellow and can live happily with your other house pets or young humans. I would like some company bonding days in the beginning though, while we all get to know each other.
What else do you need to know? Oh I'm really good at pooping in those little boxes you provide me with, and I cover it up pretty neatly. I enjoy snacking but I'm not TOO demanding about you making sure that lunch is on time.
Punctuality is a strong point, particularly in the morning when I have determined that you ought to be awake ready to start the working day.
I am generally very polite, unless the dog upsets me in which case I will unleash all my rage (get it, unLEASH cos it was the dog. Did I mention humour is another strong point?)
Okay so my application is done now. Would you like to arrange an interview to get to know me better? Please be aware that I am prone to stage fright and might seem terrified of you upon first meeting but I guarantee it's all an act.
I'm located in Northam, but my foster mum can take me to Perth for interviews.
I'm waiting for my call back now.
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please call Freedom on 0409 000 259. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
