About Gracie
Gracie is a lovely six year old full black female German Shepherd that has come into our care. She is currently located nr Windsor, NSW.
Gracie has been an only dog having lived her life as a companion dog but unfortunately her owner became unwell and was forced to surrender his beloved Gracie to an animal shelter.
Bewildered at being left in a pound Gracie was taken in our care and has been fully vet checked and desexed. She has lived as a companion dog for her former owner but has had limited contact with other dogs. She wants to be friends wagging her tail so we would suggest further socialisation with a walking pet group or local training club.
Gracie loves her humans and has travelled allot with her former owner who lived in a caravan.
Gracie is an excellent car traveller and is not a barker and is social, good natured and in excellent health. She would need a home where she can be the only dog and at this stage is untested with cats.
If you think you can give Gracie a new home, please contact us.
Medical notes
Gracie has been desexed and vaccinated and is on heart worm prevention. She will be hydrobathed and groomed prior to going to her new home.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
