What a heart-melter!

Meet gorgeous Ecron. This little boy may be the most handsome pup around with his adorable little worried face and frinkles (forehead wrinkles). And if you’re not already falling head over heels for him then just wait, as he is also one of the most affectionate puppies. Ecron loves a big cuddle and is more than happy to curl up, snuggle in and spend the evenings on the couch with you having a nap. Actually, the couch may be his favourite place to be as he tries to get up there at every opportunity. Ecron is a curious pup who enjoys playing with toys or even chasing leaves being blown in the wind. He is good with kids and will play with them and get pats. He is an absolute delight of a puppy who will definitely make you smile.

During his time in care, Ecron has met a range of other dogs. He is much more confident around calmer or smaller dogs, but needs some more confidence with bigger and more boisterous ones. It will be important that his new family are able to continue his socialisation to ensure positive experiences around other dogs which will allow him to grow into a happy and socialised adult. He enjoys playing with his sister who he is in care with and will run around chasing her or playing wrestling games. Ecron will be a moderately active dog when he grows up so will require daily exercise to keep him happy and healthy throughout his life.
Ecron may be small but he has begun some basic training and shows a lot of promise. He can sit for a treat and walk on a lead. He is very food motivated so loves training time, and will even sit and wait patiently for his treats. It is important that his new family are committed to continuing his training though as he is still young and will have lots more to learn. He should attend puppy preschool or go straight into basic obedience/manners classes. Ecron is progressing really well with his toilet training and sleeps through the night.

We are looking for a dog experienced home for this boy where he will be considered a part of the family and included in the daily activities. He will require a home with another friendly medium sized dog for company and/or where someone is home most of the time to give him the attention that he deserves. Ecron should be allowed inside to be with the family and will require a warm comfy bed to sleep on inside at night out of the weather. This smart little boy would thrive in a home wanting to teach him lots of fun things and who will give him lots of love and attention.
