Hodei is absolutely adorable – I mean look at her - she has cute written all over her face and when you meet her you discover that she has the most heart-warming personality as well. This little girl is a sweetheart and loves people; big and small. She is great with little kids who like giving her lots of hugs, pats and attention. Hodei absolutely adores cuddles and will fall asleep right on your lap if you rub her belly for long enough. Her favourite toy is her teddy bear, but she enjoys anything that she can chew on for hours. Overall, this little cutie pie is sure to brighten up your days!

During her time in care, Hodei has met a range of other dogs. She is social and curious about other dogs. At the park she is happy for the other dogs to come and say hi but can be a bit shy of the big ones as she is still just a little girl herself. She loves running around and playing with her brother whom she is care with. Hodei will be a moderately active dog and will require daily exercise to keep her healthy and happy throughout her life. Like any puppy, it is important that her new family maintain positive socialisation experiences with her and other dogs to ensure she continues good social skills.

Hodei has already begun some basic training while in care. She can sit for a treat and walk on a lead. Even off lead she is very good and shows pretty impressive recall skills. Being a puppy, it is important that her new family are committed to continuing her training by attending puppy preschool or progressing straight into some basic obedience/manner classes as she has lots more to learn as she grows up. She is progressing well with toilet training and sleeps through the night without a problem, though she does prefer someone to be nearby.

We are looking for a home where Hodei will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities and outings. She will require a home with another friendly and playful dog and/or where someone is home most of the time to give her the love and attention that she deserves. She will require a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night and she should be allowed to come inside during the day too to spend time with the family. Hodei has met a dog friendly cat who she was respectful of so it is expected that she should be fine with other types of pets as long as appropriate introductions are made. This beautiful little girl will be a great addition to a family.
