About Mabel
My name is Mabel. My original name when I came to GAR was ‘Sparky’ but my foster Mum thought this name didn’t do my personality justice so I am now Mabel.
My foster Mum says l am gorgeous, affectionate, friendly and an independent kitty! Despite being 12 months I still look like a kitten, but you would get the benefits of a well-behaved cat.
I love a good snooze and you could say I am quite lazy. I like to find a nice comfy spot to lay– bed, couch, cupboard, shed anywhere I can set myself up for the day. I do however, like the couch at night so I can be in view of my family.
Whilst I enjoy being independent, I will come to you every so often for affection. I’m a good talker, and will let you know how much I love you with a nice purr.
I also enjoy a good scratch around the ears and on the belly. Did I mention I love, love, love my food! I have however, got table manners, and will wait for my food to be served before I launch in.
My foster Mum is very happy as I am great at using the litter tray and I enjoy being clean.
I would suit any household, and would make sure I shower you with love and let you know how grateful I am to be in a forever home. I am a fuss free kitty and would enjoy being able to have the ability to roam around the house and do my own thing- but also enjoy my night time cuddles.
I’ve recently started spending some time with my canine foster sister. I have been enjoying her company, so with gentle introductions, my foster mum thinks I will be happy in a home with a cat friendly dog.
I adjust well to new surroundings and really make myself a part of the family. If you meet me you will fall in love with me instantly and I promise you won’t regret it!
If you want an independent, fuss free, well behaved and affectionate cat I’m your girl and I can’t wait to meet you!
Medical notes
