About Annie
So you're looking for a Frenchie? A little older and more dignified? This lovely lady may just be perfect then.....
Annie is almost 7yrs old (her birthday is coming up on 8th March) and she's a bundle of personality, fun and companionship. She adores her humans (as Frenchies do) and is happiest when her humans are close by. She's a super friendly girl with both adults and older children, although can be a little protective of her closest humans. For this reason, she would be ideally suited to a home with older children or adults only. She loves to go for walks, jump around and splash in a shallow pool on warm days and run around on lush green grass.
Her favourite food is chicken.....but can be a little fussy when her diet is changed or too much dry food or rice is added to her meals. Annie is toilet trained inside and currently sleeping indoors in her foster home (next to her foster mum's bed). She is absolutely adored by her foster family and has a beautiful nature.
Annie has shown to be quite dominant with other dogs, so we are looking for a home where she will be your one and only special companion. We will not be placing her in a home where she will be left on her own for long periods of time (full time workers) as she would not cope well in this situation.
Adult French Bulldogs are quite dignified and can be champion couch potatoes, but they also love to clown around and go for walks in cool weather. They do not cope well in the heat, so you need to protect them from heatstroke and offer them an air-conditioned home in the warm weather.
Annie is a very quiet girl (a wonderful trait of the Breed) and will bark to announce visitors, but otherwise quiet.
Snorting, snuffling, and flatulence go with the territory of short-faced breeds, so be warned :)
