About Harry
Say Hi to Harry the male staghound x greyhound puppy that is looking for a home to call his own.
Harry was in foster care with his litter mate LuLu until yesterday. He was the quite natured pup out of the two of them. His world was turned upside down yesterday when LuLu was adopted and was very vocal and upset last night. We anticipate this will settle down as he adjusts.
Harry has been in foster care with a 6 year old boy and has been great with him. He loves to explore and play but then snuggle up to his foster carers. Harry is just learning to sit on command but does need positive reinforcement with a treat at the moment - that will improve.
Harry is not very confident with other dogs - quite shy so will need a family that will do plenty of social exposure with him and have puppy play dates and continue his training.
Harry's adoption fee is $400 which will cover some of the costs of his vet check, flea and worm treatment, 1st vaccination, microchipping and desexing.
Harry will need a booster vaccination in 2 weeks time at the cost of his new owner to ensure he is fully covered from parvos and other nasty bugs.
