About Rita ~ Kitten (adopted)
Rita is a gorgeous kitten who is super cautious and curious, with such beautiful colouring! She is an absolute ninja who will sneak up on you at unexpected moments and suddenly be next to your feet watching your every move. She absolutely loves climbing, and also enjoys her alone time. When she’s done playing and exploring for a while, she happily takes herself off to a quiet corner for a snooze.
Rita is currently living with two small dogs, who she happily plays with now, after initially taking a few days to warm up to them. She also loves to play with other cats, getting right in on the action and wrestling with the big guys.
As Rita is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
Rita is currently located in Hamilton. If you have any questions, or would like to meet Rita, please contact her foster carer Meg at m.phillips7@live.com.
Rita’s adoption fee is $250 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms.
Medical notes
Happy and healthy kitten.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
