About Caleb ScruffMuffin (4097)
My name is Caleb the ScruffMuffin and I am love on legs. As my name suggests I have a somewhat scruffy appearance but this is because I'm not quite sure if I'm a short coated medium hair cat, or a long coated short haired cat.
I think it adds to my charm as it makes me look like a black pom-pom, with legs. I have a big schnoz and I LOVE to kiss and lick the face of my person. I seriously love my person. So if you adopt me and let me into your heart, there will be kissing. I also like noses. Just so we're clear.
ScruffMuffin is in foster care but is happy to meet you - just enquire!
I'm am The Best Ever Bug Hunter. Killer of flies. Flies so small the peoples can't see them. But I do. I see them. I hunt them. I do away with them.
I have grown up in a home with sister Zsa-Zsa (she is equally awesome, for a girl-cat), a few other foster kittens, and adult cats. There are also dogs in the house but they do scare me so I'm not really a big fan. I fluff up and run away. I tolerate them, but we're not friends.
I am an avid screen door climber and like to pretend I'm Spider-Cat. Spider-Cat. Spider-Cat, Spider-Cat, Does whatever a spider can Spins a web, any size, Catches flies just like flies, Look Out! Here comes the Spider-Cat.
As a typical kitten I get bursts of crazy energy and me and my sister play mad-chasies up and down the hallway. I catch her, she screams and carries on. She chases and catches me, she screams and carries on and then blames me. ME! When its her that's doing the catching and the biting. I still love her but.
I'm a fabulous eater and I was fed a great diet of high quality kitten food which has given me a super strong foundation for life and play (such as climbing screen doors). As an older kitten I am fed a varied diet of both commercial and human grade meat (chicken, beef, roo for treats). We are fed grain-free beef/kangaroo or chicken/poultry, tinned sardines/seafood cocktail in jelly a couple of times a week, chicken wings and strips of gravy beef for strong teeth and jaws. And high quality kitten dry food for all those extra nutrients my little growing body needs. I have not had any major health issues and I have a super healthy tummy! I'm fully litter trained (and less of a princess than my sister Zsa-Zsa!). We are using recycled paper litter on top of newspaper in both closed litter trays and open litter trays. We've got mad skills.
I am the bestest kitten ever I am told.
From the ScruffMuffin's Foster Momma: Seriously, this little guy is delightful. He has a really beautiful personality and he is such fun to have around. I love his little guts and I think he'd be a fabulous addition to someone's home. He was a little scared when he first came to live with me - new smells, dogs, lots of business, but he came out of his shell and he hasn't looked back. I have certainly fallen in love. He is affectionate and we'll more often than not have cuddles at night and in the morning. He will join his sister on my ribcage or he'll have in arm cuddles. I love holding him and kissing his beautiful face with his big nose. He is growing into it more - but it just makes me happy. He's got a great appetite, eats everything he should be (except those bugs!). He's been entirely indoors and due to his age and size, but I would continue to keep him inside. I'm not sure he's got enough sense to cope with outdoors - he's a simple lad ;). I would love for him to be adopted with his sister who is also beautiful and a definite character. But he would make a good companion if you have another cat at home. I will post a link to her profile here if you're looking for two.
