About Bluebell ~ Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog (on trial 6/3/18
Meet Bluebell! This happy girl is a 14 month old Stumpy Tail Cattle dog. Bluebell is extremely intelligent, active, loyal and loves being part of the family.
Bluebell has basic training but is a little stubborn so having treats help. She would benefit from further training as she is still a young dog and thrives on being given a job to do. Bluebell is toilet trained.
Bluebell does enjoy the comforts of home and loves to be inside when someone is home. She does sleep inside and she would need a family happy to allow her to continue this.
Bluebell likes other dogs and it would be great for her to have a furry friend but not a necessity as long as someone is home with her some of the time. She would not suit full time workers. Being a cattle dog she can be a bit nippy and would need guidance and understanding in this area.
Bluebell would make a great family dog with older children as she would enjoy all family activities. She enjoys getting out about and being included in family time.
If you are interested in meeting Bluebell please email Sharron on sstudley3@bigpond.com who is taking all enquiries for her. Bluebell is currently located in Medowie with her foster carer John and she is available for adoption interstate.
Bluebell’s adoption fee is $500 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
