About Tillie ~ Kelpie x (on trial 17/3/2018)
Meet Tillie! Tillie is a 4 month old female Kelpie cross pup. She is currently living with a 10 month old Pug puppy and adores her! Tillie would be best suited in a home with another dog her size or smaller as she would love the company. Tillie requires daily exercise. She currently goes for lots of walks and spends lots of time at the beach.
Tillie loves the water! She has been well socialised with other dogs at a puppy daycare centre but is not confident with dogs larger than her as this can be intimidating.
Tillie would be best suited in home where someone can be home with her a few days throughout the week as she is only a puppy and needs the attention. Tillie would do great with training and currently knows to sit when asked.
Tillie would be great with children over the age of 6 as she is still a puppy and can still jump.
She has been around cats and they don’t seem to bother her at all!
Tillie is not yet house trained but does spend some time indoors and is currently training to toilet outside. With constant training, Tillie would very easily become an inside dog if this is what you wanted. You will also need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
It is best for Tillie to sleep indoors until she is a little bit older as she is still very young.
Tillie is learning to walk on a lead but can still get a little excited and pull on the lead.
If you think Tillie could be a family member in your house, please contact Vanessa on 0402 688 084 or email at vanessajaynegledhill@hotmail.com

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire. Word format: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx or PDF: http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.pdf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
