If Buddy could talk he would say;
Hi I’m Buddy, a handsome, friendly and polite 2 year old male BC X. I have a short haired coat which is so easy to maintain. You can tell from my beautiful soft dark eyes that I am super sweet and gentle especially around small children.
My favourite things in life are people of all ages, having a good tummy rub, playing with dog toys and going on walks. Whatever you want to do I can do it too. I can walk really slow if you have children or a pram, but I can also go fast if you like to do a bit of jogging. I enjoy meeting everyone at home and the park. I take treats gently and all my basics such as toilet training is done. I can stay inside for ages and look after the house for you, everything will still be just perfect as you left it. If you tell me to sit, wait or lie down I can do it straight away. I sleep all night and don’t get up until you do, I just love to please everyone.
I am looking for a loving home where I can be part of a family, how ever big or small that is. I am a border collie x so I’m smart and I would need to have my mental and physical activity needs met, then I’ll be super chilled out when you need me to be. I grow happier and more confident everyday, the friendliest boy you’re ever going to meet.
I’m in Brisbane and ready to find my new life, if you think I could be your new friend please fill out an application as I would love to meet you soon.
Love Buddy x

Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW. **
