About Minnie Mouse
Minnie is an incredible little dog. She is so sweet natured and loving, and dishes out the best cuddles. She is small enough to curl up on your lap while working at the computer, as she is now, but looks and behaves just like a normal dog shrunk down into a tiny package. At 7 kg , she is 14 inches high from her foot to the top of her back, with a lovely slim athletic build. She is naturally obedient and cooperative, and really is looking for her own loving owner to trot around with. While she loves life, she has the ability to relax completely and is quite a peaceful presence around the house. Minnie met the cat that we have in care and was very interested and polite with it and visa versa, so we think she would be happy with a cat friend. A boisterous dog would probably be a bit much for her though.
Minnie came to us through the Tennant Creek Pound when her owners failed to recover her. She wasn't there for very long at all, but in that short time she managed to enchant all the staff. We know Minnie will make a great companion for some very lucky person.
Our rescue and rehabilitation work happens in Central Australia, but because of the scarcity of adopters locally, our re-homing operation is in South Australia. Minnie's adoption fee includes crate hire, courier transport by road from Tennant Creek to Alice Springs, and a direct flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide. Minnie is currently in foster care in Elliott NT.
Adoption details
We request that prospective adopters email us with an initial enquiry. We will forward an application form. On receipt of the application form, we will make phone contact to discuss the adoption. We try hard to match the dog to the person, ultimately looking for the best fit for the dog.
