Hi. I’m Dylan. I follow my carer everywhere, like a little shadow. And I love meeting new people too. I’m a cuddly little boy and I enjoy the company of my big, grown up foster brother. He’s very gentle with me, so he’s taught me that big dogs are nice :) I’m getting the gist of toilet training already and told my carer three times in the night when I needed to go. She was very impressed with me.

I might only be small when I’m fully grown. It’s always hard to know for sure with rescue pups, but my mother is small-medium sized and right now, I look like I’m a small puppy.

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like daily training so that I learn and practice the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it; and so I always obey what you tell me to do. Consistent, clear boundaries will mean that I always know the right way to behave. And of course, socializing with lots of people, dogs and other animals is important too. Getting out and about to exercise at least once a day is vital for me as it stimulates my brain and body, creates opportunities for me to socialise and it tires me out. It will stop me from being a naughty puppy!!!! That’s after I’ve been fully vaccinated and the vaccine has had the required time afterwards to take effect, of course!

A few hours flying is absolutely worth it for remotely located animals if it means we have the opportunity to be adopted. My airfare to Perth is $150 thanks to QANTAS, and I can fly elsewhere in Australia too.
