About Harley
Harley, with his fuzzy face and overgrown brow, is quite a handsome and strapping young man. He is full of energy and will go anywhere, anytime! He a bit of an action man and loves to be out and about and on the go! He's happy for outings in the car, walks on his harness and lead, time at the oval or dog park with a ball being thrown and especially time spent at the river. Harley is in his element when there is water, and a ball or stick to be thrown for him. This kind of exercise will keep him entertained for hours!
Harley is also very much a family guy. He enjoys spending time with his family and has had the great fortune to be an inside dog. He'd dearly like to keep it that way so we are searching for a family that enjoys the company of their four-legged family member inside the home. His house manners are impeccable and cannot be faulted. He is happy in the company of other dogs he knows. Harley is approx the size of a Labrador so there will be ample room to share with him on the couch, under the air conditioner, in front of the heater and on your bed!
Our fuzzy friend is very worried by thunder and fireworks. A forever family would need to be mindful of this and be prepared to keep him company if either of these events were close. Harley has been known to scale a secure colourbond fence to escape both storms and fireworks. Harley would suit an experienced owner rather than a novice. He requires a leader that will take the time to get to know him and not set him up to fail.
Harley is a loyal, loving forever companion and would best suit a country lifestyle. If you think he may be the one for you, please contact us! Harley is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and flea free. He is currently in care in Echuca, which is three hours north of Melbourne.
